An Advisory Council represents the community school’s constituents, drives implementation of the Assets & Needs Assessment, tracks overall progress of implementation and goal achievement, and pursues community ownership and long-term sustainability of community school efforts. The earlier you involve critical partners with diverse experiences and expertise, the greater the chance of drafting a strong, feasible CS strategy.
